Little Orchard Garden is a card and gift creation business based in the Shropshire Hills UK, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Our cards and ‘Lifted by Herbs’ giftboxes are linked to the Language of Flowers and Herbs, as made popular by the Victorians.

Images on the cards are photographs from my own collection, all featuring herbs and flowers that could be found in any English cottage garden, given an up-to-date twist. On the back of each card is a unique, uplifting message in modern-Victorian style to suit any occasion and an interpretation of the meaning of the flowers and herbs in the image.

Herb giftboxes contain, as well as a card, a coir starter propagation plug of herb seeds (with instructions) linked to a herb illustrated in the card image. Also included is interesting information about the history of the herb in culture and folklore alongside its meanings in floriography; suggestions for its use in the kitchen; a tea infuser (stainless steel mesh tea ball for loose-leaf tea) and a sample of a high- quality tea blend from a local Shropshire supplier.

Cards purchased as part of a ‘Lifted by Herbs’ giftbox may be handwritten with a personal message free of charge if required and sent direct to gift-recipient
